Eine Star Wars-Anthologie-Serie, bei der jede Folge ihre eigene künsterlische Vision verfolgt? Star Wars: Visions hätte ein totaler Flop werden können. Stattdessen wurde es ein Hit. Nun wurde eine dritte Staffel bestätigt. Neun animierte Folgen sollen dabei entstehen, die (wie in der ersten Staffel) allesamt von Studios in Japan erstellt werden. An Bord sind David Production (Captain Tsubasa, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), Kamikaze Douga+ ANIMA (Batman Ninja), Kinema Citrus (.hack//Quantum), Polygon Pictures (Godzilla Trilogy, beteiligt an Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence), Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth), Project Studio Q, TRIGGER (Live 2D-Animatinoen bei Fire Emblem Fates) und WIT Studio (Attack on Titan).
