In einer Einladung hat Activision den konkreten Termin für das Enthüllungsevent von Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 bekannt gegeben.

Das Event findet am 17. Mai 2018 um 19 Uhr (MEZ) statt und wird uns erste handfeste Details zum neuen Shooter liefern. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 wurde bereits für einen Release im Herbst 2018 bestätigt. Das Spiel wird erneut von Treyarch entwickelt und erscheint am 12. Oktober für PS4, Xbox One und PC.

Neusten Gerüchten nach arbeitet das Studio Raven Software an einem „Battle Royal Modus“ für den Shooter.

  6. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was confirmed in early March, but isn’t slated to be fully revealed until May. Today, however, Polygon dropped a big rumor bomb by citing multiple sources who say that the game will ship with no single-player campaign at all, on any platform.

    The sources claimed that the campaign was cut because there just wasn’t enough going to be enough time to get it done prior to the October 12 release date. Instead, Treyarch is apparently focusing on expanding the multiplayer element, including the Zombies mode and possibly some new co-op modes.

    There may also be a battle royale mode for players to dive into: Shortly after Polygon reported on the no-campaign rumor, Charlie Intel posted a story saying that it had heard the same „no campaign“ rumor last month, and that its source also told it that Raven Software had been put to work on a battle royale mode „to fill the content gap.“

    EA’s DICE studio is testing a battle royale mode for Battlefield V that features similar gameplay to megahits like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, according to someone with knowledge of the studio who asked to remain anonymous. In those last player-standing shooters, 100 players drop onto a map and fight until only one person or team is left standing, and that game type has taken over the industry.

    Mit einem eigenen Story-Trailer wurden die Specialists des Multiplayer-Modus vorgestellt. Eine richtige komplette Solo-Kampagne wird es Call of Duty Black Ops 4 nicht geben! Dafür jedoch eigene Missionen für die Specialists.

    Jede Menge Story soll es dafür in gleich drei verschiedenen Zombie-Modi geben die den Spiele etwa ins antike Rom oder auf die Titanic führen.

    Ich bin happy mit Black Ops IV (so schreibt man die römische 4 richtig :wink:), weil kein 1. oder 2. Weltkrieg als Setting. :+1:

  12. Also wirklich ohne Story-Kampagne. Für mich so komplett uninteressant. Mal sehen was BF5 bietet. BF habe ich bis dato ja immer gemieden da ein AAA-Moorhuhnshooter pro Jahr reicht. Wenn bei BF5 das Setting passt, wird es im Sale geholt.

  13. Das einzige was mich wirklich interessieren würde wäre der neue Blackout Modus. Aber das alleine rechtfertigt keinen Kauf. Man hätte diesen Modus vielleicht als eigenständiges Spiel vermarkten sollen und stattdessen eine SP Kampange machen sollen. Dann wären ja alle Seiten glücklich.

  14. Ich bin generell kein COD fan aber da ich mit WW2 viel Spass hatte wollte ich mir eventl. Den neuen teil auch zu legen. Leider sagt mir der Trailer und das Setting zu null % zu.

    Ich hoffe BF5 spielt in der gegenwart dann wird es fix gekauft.

  15. Fehlende Singleplayer Kampagne ist mir egal. Zombies im alten Rom jagen finde ich cool. :hugs:
